Service Description

Are you are experiencing long periods of stress? Or finding yourself becoming more irritable or reacting to things that normally wouldn't phase you? Or perhaps you feel that you can't cope, or life isn't giving you the same satisfaction as it used to. Counselling can help you manage these feelings. Time to focus on you We all tend to be better at looking after others than ourselves. It can be challenging to take time to focus on our individual struggles or challenges. But to be there effectively for others we must acknowledge the importance of our own mental wellbeing. Understanding how you see the world How we experience the world as an adult develops over time. It’s totally normal to not understand why you are feeling the way you do. We all carry limiting beliefs and ways of seeing the world that we have developed since childhood that we might not even aware of. By becoming more aware, you can start to take control and make changes to help your mental wellbeing. Bespoke approach My approach is person-centred. How we work together depends on what is most effective for you. This is something that we will learn and develop together during our sessions. Whether there is a specific issue you want to explore or you would like to understand what is underpinning your experiences now we can adapt our approach to suit your desired outcome. Take the first step No one size fits all so it's really important you feel confident I'm the right counsellor for you. To help you make the right decision for you, I offer a free 30-minute phone consultation. Please contact me to book yours. Part-funded sessions on offer for those in the not-for-profit sector or who are on low incomes - £35 per session.
